Here are a couple of pretty presents! Simply wrap your soaps in pretty wrapping paper and use them for decor and cleaning! You can even fill a big jar up with them to add addition color to the room! Try doing the same with toilet paper, and Kleenex, too.

When taking a closer look at this “vase” you will see that it was once an olive oil bottle and is now perfectly redone in five minutes and for five dollars by removing the old label and wrapping pretty paper around it and simply throwing some green grass in. It’s so simple and so easy.

Here is a great idea for keeping your towels warm after a shower. Install a warming drawer that is typically used to keep food warm in the kitchen, in the bathroom instead.

Creative mirror hanging: Don’t let a window over your bathroom vanity stop you from hanging a mirror. Simply install one to suspend from the ceiling and hang it right in front of the window.

Creative Bathroom Vanity: A favorite piece of furniture can be converted to be used as as a bathroom vanity and it will leave you with a very original space!

Think outside the box: Choosing stone that is typically used outside and using it for your shower is a great way to create a look like no one else has!

Space saver: Don’t let a structural beam stand in the way of your designs. Here is a great example of how’to make the most of a challenging situation. The cabinet was simply made more shallow inside, but from the outside it looks much deeper.

Towel hangers: Towel bars can be tricky because you have to be sure that the towels are folded and hung perfectly or they look terrible. Here is an alternative solution. Install coat hooks like this bathroom and it becomes a much neater and more usable way to hang towels.

Secret storage: Here is a great way to hide a stackable washer and dryer in a kitchen if you have no other place to put it. We just built a cabinet and hid them inside.

Creative built-in: Here was a great way to use an old, abandoned laundry shoot. We opened it up and added some shelves. Voila! Who would guess that we didn’t plan it?

Rug Trick: I loved this suede shag rug, but it only came in a 5 by 7 foot size. I simply took it to a carpet shop and had them cut it down to 2 by 7 and finish the edges.

Ugly rooftop: This was a simple and perfect way to hide an ugly rooftop that was seen from my balcony. I bought a statue and some garden balls and placed them on the roof top. Then I took some light weight garden pebbles and spread them over the roof. So easy and what a difference!

Chalkboard paint: Try using chalkboard paint on a wall or a door like this. Kids have so much fun when I paint their closet doors! Another clever use for it is for a backsplash in a kitchen because it’s washable, too!

Party atmosphere: Imagine this scene without the lanterns. It just wouldn’t give the same affect of feeling like we created a real style in this outdoor space. Hanging the lanterns overhead created the feeling of somewhat of a ceiling in this outdoor space, which gave it some warmth and coziness. Also, notice that the color scheme of lime and blue was simply created by the colored napkins and bag of candy!

Decorate with meaning: For this wedding the bride and groom asked that their guests write a wish for their future on a ribbon. When finished, the ribbons were strung around the gazebo and the bride and groom were married around wishes from their friends and family that blew in the wind while they tied the knot!

Party décor: For this party I wanted to surround my friends with pictures of all of us on different occasions so that we could celebrate all of the fun memories that we’ve had together and create a few more while we were at it! So, I clipped pictures to long ribbons and hung them from the trees around the party setting and everyone had so much fun reminiscing!
